Should be compulsory for all people aobut to embark on their own repairs. Did you see the one where someone had replaced the tuners on a Guild Steel Strung guitar with Classical machine heads, therefore having to cut through the headstock so that the tuners would work? Why, oh why, would someone do that?

Oh my god, that's the kind of stuff that makes me sure that some people have too much money, too much time on their hands, and absolutely NO TASTE and common sense. The art work on the Martin was just as ugly as it gets...

LOL I think my favourite is the 'Iron Maiden' guitar case! This stuff proves that foolproofing will always be stymied by really determined idiots!

Did you see though, that the case actually worked? That was the funniest thing, the fact that the padding went out far enough to protect the guitar from the screws. Talk about serenditpity. But oyu're right, the more fool proof you make something, the more foolish people become in order to "beat the system" as it were.

Sounds cool to me, hope your Dad didn't mind, my kids have modified a few of my guitars, but only with chips, dents, dings and a broken lock nut, maybe I should hide the pliers!
