Greetings,

I'm a 30 year music industry pro, wearing several hats during that time. My current work includes; gigging, producing, publishing, promoting and teaching. I also have a tendency to be a bit set in my ways, hesitant and often just too busy to mess with success. However, I'm very pleased to have taken the advice of a colleague and making time to explore all Guitar Tricks has to offer.

It's difficult, even if you play for a living, to continually improve your ability and stay out of ruts - especially if you aren't often playing with others of equal or greater skill. Filling this void is what I find most beneficial about the site. Since joining I'm surprised how often I find myself taking time out from other studio duties to launch Guitar Tricks and get jamming along with one of the many exceptional teachers and lessons.

Thanks Guitar Tricks for your commitment to excellence and throwing tasty bones to old dogs like me! Whether you're playing for your own enjoyment, professionally or hoping to do so and you have the drive and desire necessary, Guitar Tricks will help you reach your goals. I know of no better or more affordable, one-stop online guitar resource capable of serving the needs of absolute beginners and players of nearly all abilities.

Best Regards & Happy Holidays To All Contributors & Guitar Tricks Members!

Hi songguy64, thanks for your awesome introduction! I agree, it's easy to get in a rut and keep playing the same licks over and over. I'm on a mission right now to also break out of that and gain some new ground. Good to have you here!

Hey Axe2,

I agree, you're never too old to learn! I was playing in hair metal bands back in the day too, good times. Thanks for the feedback, it means a lot to hear all of that. Have a great holiday..thanks man!!! :D
