Musically, I give myself a dedicated hour to record/write down ideas in the form of riffs, progressions, melodies, harmonies etc. I come back to this session after a while and start to build structures with the ideas I've already written.

Lyrically, I can be inspired by current events, either in my own life or in the world, or by a recent film/book I have read and write lyrics based either on subject matter or the messages that the film/book conveys.
