Hi,
I have been taking Banjo lessons for 4 years, and wanted to learn acoustic Guitar. I enrolled with Guitar Tricks in June this year and have learned a lot, but I do not practice enough (I know it's my fault).

I was wondering if you have lessons to play "Whiskey in the Jar", I think it has a great riff and very good tune (Dubliners, and Thin Lizzy).

Thanks for everything you have taught me todate, keep up the good work I think your teaching system is fantastic.

Take Care
cheers

Welcome to the guitar side! We're glad you're enjoying the GT website. Please let me know if you ever have any questions.

We don't currently have a lesson for "Whiskey in the Jar", however you can always make song suggestions in this area of our forum:

Hey Michael, it can be hard to keep up the practice routine, I know. But you've got some good skills from banjo playing that will transfer over to guitar. With a little extra practice you might surprise yourself.
