I'm far from a review on Guitarsmith 2014, but here are a couple youtube post that give a broader view of what the system has to offer.
I have gone to the start page and sign up as guest beginner. I would advise this if you are looking around.
I can say that it's truely a fun program, but far from being an substitute for quality lessons. And I thought I had some good caluses..
One neat thing I like is after you finish a game lesson, you can noodle around using the nearly athentic sound set up that was used in the song.
