A minor pentatonic position 1 ..when i start from the 6th string and go down ..they start ringin out open notes sometimes....help me with muting them i try to use my palm on the brige . but that only helps one the 6,5,4 strings...i use a floyd rose by the way

try goin down the scale as slow as possible and inbetween each note tuch your palm against the bridge. I know yous said you do that but practice makes perfec., Another way is sometimes I use a free finger to stop a note on time.
two wrongs dont make a right but three lefts do.

Ive found that after a certain period of time your hand will learn to use different parts of itself for muting those offensive notes. I use my right and left hands for this, or sometimes ill finger a note so another unused finger rests against a string or two-Muting those notes before they even have a chance to ring out. I never really payed attention to this, it just started happenning one day. But there are a number of ways, and yes, it IS possible.
