Hi fron northeast pa
I'm Tony, I bought a guitar about 7 months ago and tried to teach myself to play with books and you tube. then I found guitar tricks a couple of months ago and my playing has really improved. I'm about 75% finished with the fundamental course. I've also learned several songs. my goal is to play in a band. any suggestions on how to accomplish this.

Tony, geting into a band or putting one together can be tough. Something that can help is to try and immerse yourself a little in the local music scene... open mike nights are a good way to meet fellow musicians. You also might want to see if there are any "rock school" camps or something similar going on in your area. I know they did one here a while back, and that they put you with musician's with similar tastes and skill level.

Right on Tony, go for it! It's the best way to move forward, take what you know and jump right in. Give us a report after? :) best of luck to you at your open mic. Just remember if you mess up, just keep playing like nothing happened.
