Good headline, got MY attention. I immediately picture MC Hammer doing the electric slide in his big, baggy pants...

Thanks for welcoming me, Well let me tell a little more about myself. I am a 43 year old male from Chicago. I picked up my first guitar at the age of 10. I tried to take lessons and really didn't like it to much. I felt annoyed with the teachers and then stopped. As I got older , I met friends that played as well and they taught me some songs like smoke on the water, stairway to heaven, etc.
I love to play all types of music and want to learn a lot more. I currently play on an Ibanez acoustic guitar. its a two tone midnight blue with a black neck, on the outer rim and with pearl accents.
As far as my favorite guitarist goes ....hmmm wow there are so many but I will list a few. Eddie Van Halen, Joe Walsh, Stevie Ray, Eric Clapton. BB king , and so many more Gordon .
lol yes my name has gotten me some attention over the years and the most common one is, your right Neal......" Stop cant touch this " Hammer time.
