I'd look into gaining a complete understanding of modes, and probably "three-note-per-string" scale patterns which lend themselves to speed riffs. Don't make it all about speed though... that slowed down atmospheric style you have at times is really cool.

I don't have any lesson recommendations for you, I just wanted to say that I liked your song that you posted. The mix seemed a bit off, and the drums were a little too busy for my taste at times, but in terms of the guitar, I think you have some really sonically interesting ideas... sounds like you have a good ear. I liked the part around 1:30 where the music was very tight.. that sounded great. Sounds like you have a good ear.
