Boutique Effects . . .

You know; the ones that are handmade and extremely expensive. In the search for ever-elusive new tones, I've been looking around at http://www.gaspedal.com and finding some interesting (i.e. expensive) effects. My question is: Has anyone here actually used any of these effects from comanies like Zvex or Lovetone? And if so, what impressions did you get?

If you are looking for new tones, get the pawnshop-10 bucks-crappy looking-weird color-pedals, I guess you'll have a ride!!
