Joined a couple weeks ago

Just wanted to say I'm glad I joined and things are going well. Wanted to play since I was a teenager and at 42 finally I'm doin it. nothing can stop me now.thanks to GUITAR Tricks.

I'm in the same boat! 40 years old and just starting..

Played bass a little in college, not much but enough to be able to jam 12 bar blues with friends. Then stopped for many years. Always wanted to pick up guitar, but for some reason couldn't get my fat fingers to fret cleanly! No problem on bass.. Big problem on guitar.

A few years back my wife bought me a beautiful guitar so I could start learning, but job and kids are too demanding time-wise.. So I haven't been able to take lessons.

One of the guys at work recommended guitartricks, so I checked it out, watched a few free videos and immediately signed up. Am starting with fundamentals and have already seen an improvement!
