Hi All! I am looking for a Tube Amp that has a 12" speaker and kicks butt. Yet, on the smaller size and light weight to transport around. I have a 200 watt ZT Lunchbox amp which is awesome but looking for a tube/valve amp. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Thanks,

John

I just bought the Fender Twin Reverb Reissue. It's 85W, not too big but powerful enough for any gig. I've been a Marshall guy all my life, but listening to this amp with a Les Paul has such a sweet and pure sound. Go to your local music store and play through one....you'll be hooked. Good luck!

The Twin is a heavy amp to carry around. look at Victoria amps. They are half the weight of fender but same or better quality and sound, Louis Electric Buster amp is a nice amp. Small but these amps are good enough for club gigs. The Fender Twin is a great amp but its loud, I sold mine last year after having it for 30 plus years. Like I said it got too heavy for me to carry around, other then that its a good amp

I just recently bought the Marshall DSL 15C Amplifier. Check it out on video to see and hear it in action at Sweetwater.com. It can be moved around and kicks butt soundwise.

Why would you post this on Guitar Tricks?? There is not another site around that even comes close to Guitar Tricks and I have been around the block a few times. This topic is for a amp selection!

*Marshall* Bluesbreaker? The tube amp from 40-50 years ago?
