Hi name is Steve very new to playing, well real green. Been thinking of going for full access as payed member, and getting the help I need to play. I work nights so its hard here where I live to find someone for lessons early mornings. Most are evening lessons. Hoping to make some new friends and learn how to play acoustic guitar. Oh and I'm a left handed player

Welcome aboard the good ship GT :)

I love structured plans too, and GT has them. I will pick up my first guitar ever tomorrow and get started in the Beginner's series.

The other good part of GT is that you can slow down or rewind a lesson ad infinitum, try that with your face to face instructor.

Hang in there, and you'll progress. I know, I did it with bagpipes. With time, good instruction and dedication, you can learn to play an instrument.
