I've learned a ton from guitar tricks in the past year and a half. Thought I would share my recordings with you all. https://soundcloud.com/treign-rex

18 months of playing? You must practice a lot! In the song Save Me, I like the melody that starts at about 1:17, and then again at 2:52. Great melodic themes! ♪•*¨*•.¸¸.•*¨*•

Thanks, yeah I'm a little OCD about guitar. Shame I waited so long to begin learning.

Nice job man! You've come an awful long way for starting only a year and a half ago! Awesome!

Fantastic work! Now, I am hypermotivated to start learning and give you my progress report in 18 months time. I better take my guitar to work or I won't get enough practice in at home.

Man that was really well done. I'd like to know more about your lead guitar setup. First, what guitar are you using, and tell us about the path to the amp.

Thanks.

Damn... I'm personally not a big fan of metal (aside from Metallica, that is), and as such, I was a bit skeptical towards it from the beginning... But I really like the tracks you linked to. Sound freaking awesome, especially for someone who's only played for a year and a half! Keep it up and you're bound to become an even greater guitarist!

Edit: Oh... My bad. I had only noticed the first track (Save Me) was categorized as "Metal". The overall mix is actually pretty frigging good. Keep it up!
