Match Song Tone
Does anyone know what pedal/tone Jack White seems to be using in the song Steady as she Goes. Distortion doesn't seem quite right but I'm not sure

I'm sure if you google "Jack whites Gear" you can find out EXACTLY what he uses. There will probably be multiple blogs or forums listings his equipment.

Just keep in mind Jack White likes unusual equipment and has a preference for off the wall gadgets. Whenever someone asks about a certain sound, I tell them to get a recording of that sound and try to match it using the equipment you have. Then don't be too married to the idea of matching it exactly or you may spend a lot of time on something that only matters up to a point.
