PROBLEMS!
Well i have serious problems...I would like your help to solve them out! There are times i play something (a solo or something else very good) and say to me:Jerry you are very good guitarist(For the period i play!)..but there are times i play the same thing and i can not as the previous time and get very disapointed!..I also stuck when i play guitar in front of someone like one of my friends e.t.c...But when i play alone i can play a lot of things..Oh! and something else..I have realised that i can play better at night...I don't know why!...Do you know a possible solution which may help me?

What you play in front of an audience is your 'real level'...
Lots of people are great bedroom guitarists, but they don't have what it takes to play standing, with the power of an audience given to them.
I suggest that you practice what you want to play in front if these friends, and with time, you'll be able to play it almost as good as when you are alone (but not as good), but good enough so that you aren't disappointed.

I know what u mean, its like some days u have the feelin that you can play really good and u can, and some days, its like your **** and u just cant get any feeling into your playing. All I can suggest is that you should practice your technique and scales so that you dont even have to think about it, just make sure you really know it. And If struggle playing the harder stuff in fornt of people play some eayser stuff and then work on improving. You should try some slower stuff like santana and improvise more, people will still think its good. At the end of the day what average person can tell the differnce in skill between 2 finger tapping and sweeped appegios.

Me and my band always improvise solos, when practicing or performing, and I know what you mean. Some days you're on, some days you're off. It seems to me that I play better late at night after I've drank like a case of cokes... I get that feeling that caffeine is running through my veins instead of blood, and I'm totally pumped. Also, when I have a really ****ty day or a really good day I play better. On just an average day, I play normal, but when I've had a healthy dose of daily emotions, my playing is a lot more emotional, too. Also, when I'm playing for a crowd I tend to play less technically, but more emotionally. When it's just me and the band, I play a helluva lot more arps and blazing scalar runs... I guess I'm kinda scared of screwing up in front of a crowd ;)
