Hi, I'm working thru' Anders' Blues sections and am on the thumb in the bass line section. I'm afraid, there's no way I'm ever going to be able to do that! My fingers are simply not long enough to mute the A string as well as supress the bass and barre the other strings. It's the mute thats the problem. Any advice on how to overcome this? Will I be impeded a lot If I skip that section as something I'll never be able to do? Advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

Hi Jacqs, Try posting to Anders with the lesson name.. It will make things quicker if you paste lesson here.
Or check out mutining techniques. there are ways to do it..
Palm muting , with the right hand comes to mind
"Never say never"..
Good luck..
