Using my iPad to access backing tracks?

Allow me to confess up front that I'm not a tech savvy guy so I'm hoping someone out there in guitar tricks land can help me. I travel a lot and I take a small travel guitar with me on my trips. I use my iPad to do my guitar lessons in my hotel room. Unfortunately, my iPad can't access the backing tracks and other areas of the guitar tricks website because my iPad wont support flash player. Does anyone know of some other way I can get my iPad to pick up the backing tracks? I really need to practice more with with those tracks. I hate to carry a laptop on the road because of the hassle at airport security. Any ideas? Thanks.

We are working on making those areas work on the iPad. It has been kind of tricky, but we are almost there with the backing tracks. So just wait, I think is your best bet.

Actually, we were able to release the iPad compatible Jam Station today. It has a few flaky issues we were not able to get rid of, but it is useable. Please give it a shot and let us know how it goes.

I don't know if it's related, but playing the Mp3 backing tracks off my iPhone just stopped working today.

I tried the new jam station release on my iPad. It's a no go. Can't get it to work. Is any one else getting it to work?

Is it possible to download Adobe Flash Player through the Apple Store? I honestly don't know, because I don't use Apple products other than a MacBook. If you can, try doing that and it might help.

We tested it a lot on iPad. It should work for you.

We notice that it can take a while for the track to load, and that the "loading" indicator for some reason doesn't appear until after a few seconds. But then it works.

Hey Jon,
Still unable to access jam station backing tracks on may ipad. Is there something in my iPad settings that I need to reset? Also, the last few days I'm unable to view the lesson videos on my iPad? I don't know what's up with that?

I was able to get my iPad to work. I reset some of my settings and now it works fine. I told you up front that I'm not a tech wiz. Anyway, thanks a bunch, I'm looking forward to using the jam station.
