The lick that makes you the guy you are..?

That's basically the question, what are the licks you play when you just want to play, not to practise or anything? And you have gotten sooo bored with those licks you would give anything for not playing them again?

Give an example, who is the player you are copying when you play those licks? Not the exact lick, only the player the lick is influenced by?

My own are Petrucci's scalar and Malmsteen's basic licks.. SO bored with them.. :D

I'm getting bored with doing the same sweeps over and over and over again. I play a lot of Petrucci stuff, but most of the time...I will just improvise when I'm bored, and when I improvise...I tend to do the same licks

I dont really play licks or anythign when Im not practicing. I just play chords and sequensces - I get bored of lead easily.

When I play alone I like to just shred away on some scales.
When I get tired of doing that I usually play acoustic.
Mostly soft, mellow music, like... uhm I think its
Jimmy Page, anyaway the song is called "going to california". That kinda sound.
ooh Eric Claptons "Signe" is also real nice. bossanova stuff too. or spanish guitar. or classical.
I dont like to play songs or heavy riffs when I play alone. It sounds so empty without drums, bass, and song.

When I don't feel like playing anything in paticular, I let iTunes randomly pick songs for me to practic/try to figure out.

Good excercise for my ears, and it keeps me doing different things.

There's nothing that gets me bored on the guitar... Having it in my hands is enough to be happy, so anything I play is just fine with me...
