Hello all. I signed up last week and am enjoying what I'm seeing. I've been playing since I was a kid, but I've rarely had any structure instruction. I've put some 'dad bands' together and played out but I've always felt like I was just winging it. I can talk the talk pretty well but I have such a scattered understanding of music ( a little theory, a little technique, a little ability). I figured I'd give this a try for a whole year and see if (unlike the gym) I can stick with it and improve. I've got limited time in my week to practice and it's hard to schedule anything because of my work so I like the fact I can take lessons when I find the time on my schedule. Rock on.
