Okay people, here is the problem:

On my Les Paul. When i toggle on the neck rhythm pickup something is wrong.

There is sound comming out of it but it's very low volume. Then when i strum a few chords hard the sound comes back to normal gain and volume. Then if i switch down to the treble pickup the sound is totally normal as it should be. But then when i go back to rhythm it's low again. What can this be.

Also, when i turn down the neck pickups volume knob there is still low sound comming when i play.
What is going on?

There is a similar thread in the "ask the tech" forum. I had a similar problem and had to replace my pickup switch. Mine is a faded lp studio and the switch always felt cheap to me. Even my new switch I had to clean the contacts with fine sand paper.

If you know how to solder, it's not a hard job. You could also try cleaning the contacts.
