Jeff from Northern California
I have about one week of playing under my belt. I am not sure how to go about learning with Guitar Tricks, so I have started with the Core Learning System. Given that I really want to learning a song or two, but I figure that will come with time.

Congrats on getting started, Jeff!
The Core Learning System is designed for exactly where you are. Once you have the "full chords" going, if you want to sneak ahead into songs we have made some simplified songs lessons in the songs section listed as "songs made easy"
But first, you must get used to the "full chords" in Guitar Fundamentals 1.
Good luck, and remember...slow and steady wins this race. Consistent practice, doesn't have to be that much, will get you there.
Have fun!
Jon

Hi Jeff,
The Core Learning System is the place to start. Once you learn the "full chords" that Jon suggested, we've created easy versions of popular songs called "for beginners." When you're ready, that's a good next-step:
