In Canada (Well Quebec at least), the age pyramid is reversing. That means the same situation as in the UK, less and less worker, more and more old folks (no disrespect intended, I just can't think of the politicaly correct word for them, french guy!). The health system is going downhill, there's not enough Doctors. This is a real problem. The thing is that there's still a high level of unemployment in far regions where I live. I can't figure that one out yet....
