how to set up my guitar and amp

hi im bobby i have an ibanez rg170 guitar and a peavey viper amp i want to set it up for rockabilly and country please help

Hi Bobby,

If your guitar has a split coil on the bridge pickup (vol knob pulls out) you can pull out the knob and put the selector switch one position up from the bottom (bridge and middle pickup) If not, you might just try the middle pickup.

For your amp I would go for a nice clean tone for country, for rockabilly add a little "slapback" delay, or just a very short delay.
