I should be better.....

I'm going on 41 and have been noodling around since 25....and I am awful! My chords are sloppy, I squeeze the neck too hard, and have no solo chops whatsoever! I joined here hoping to start over from scratch, follow a guided lesson plan and finally learn the instrument that I love to listen to. I am into many different types of music, but love hard rock and metal the most. My fave player is Kirk Hammett...although I love to listen to any guitarist. I currently own 4 electric guitars...LTD EC-100; LTD KH602; ESP MII Custom painted to look like the white ESP KH2-Ouija; PRS SE Singlecut....and one nylon string classical...Alvarez RC16.
