Been playing on and off for about a year.. 6 months ago i went through a breakup and had a hard time with it(together for 11 years with 2 kids)so i decided to take the extra free time and i devoted myself to practice atleast 2 hours a day since guitar seems to make me happy.. I learned all the basic chords and switching between them and some scales .. Little bit of theory.. I just don't know how to advance with all this

This is why I'm here now, hoping I can get somewhere :)
