so far and working the scales. Learning the first part of Malaguena through my instructor...starting to sound pretty good...just the first few bars. Also learning a few bars of Folsom Prison Blues through YouTube tutorial ..Dario Contese(sp) Thinking seriously about purchasing my own guitar...looking at LaPatrie Collection...seems to be a good one from reviews, at least for beginning to intermediate. Anyway, I'm having a ball learning something new...oh, yeah...and my fingers hurt!
Hi, from Anchorage, Alaska
Well, I'm brand new to music of any kind.....playing an instrument that is. I'm a 70 year old grandpa. Borrowed a young friends nylon string acoustic guitar 3 weeks ago, signed up with 'guitar tricks' and am working through Lisa McCormick's finger picking tutorial...lots of fun. She's a good teacher. Also started private lessons once a week....my third lesson is in a couple of hours. Have learned Em,Am,G,D,C,B7 chords
