Welcome. I'm in the same boat as you however I didn't need to buy anything. I took my kids guitar out of the closet and decided to put it to use. We bought them a couple of Austin AA30-D's a couple years ago and they stopped their interest after only 6 months. I decided what the heck I need a hobby. Slowly learning my chords, practicing my changes from one to the next is slow, and picking through Jingle Bells at the moment. But it's all good.
