Hello All - I'm finally setting some goals and objectives for myself and my playing including learning to read, really understanding the shape and patterns for my scales and chords. I have been using Guitartricks for about a month and I'm having a blast. I'm the type of person that needs to see the same thing from multiple perspectives before I really say that I "get" it. The instructors on this site really fit my learning style and I enjoy each of their unique perspectives. I do take a private lesson for 30 mins each week. I use this site to augment my private lesson. Each week I come in over-prepared and a step ahead of the instructor. While I really think all of the instructors on this site are the best, I want to send a shout-out to Lisa who makes me feel like i'm in her living room(relaxed) and her teaching approach has forced me to evaluate every aspect of my playing and make the necessary corrections. Good luck to all of you whatever your goals. Regards....

Hi Maxandy,
