I got them both back, and both were sounding great, especially the Shecter, so I learned, when you buy a guitar (even if it's used), get it set-up first!!

A year or so ago, I bought a Shecter Diamond Series, Zacky Vengeance cracked mirror electric guitar...Nice!...and it played so well, I didn't get it set-up. A week ago I had to take it in because the cable jack came apart; and I also took in a new BC Rich Mockingbird that I DID have to set-up because the strings were dragging the fretboard. The Tech said, the Shecter needs a set-up worse than the BC Rich! Both guitars' truss rods were way off! I played that Sheckter for 12 or more months without feeling it being off!
