I am a 63 year old man who has an older brother that I have always sort of idolized since I was a kid. He started singing and playing guitar as a teenager and did so up until the was about 35 and then just quit. Stopped singing and playing completely for about 40 years. About 6 months before his 76th birthday he decided to stop again. He rigged a makeshift recording device in his home and has started singing again and he hasn't lost a thing when it comes to his voice (inspite of having cancer 18 years ago and having his left lung removed). I have purchased a guitar and am going to try to learn to play it and not tell him until I do and surprise him by playing for him.
