Hi,

I'm was playing around with Rocksmith (PC version) and was wondering if anyone is using Rocksmith to practice (besides the great lessons on the guitar trick side) and what their experience is with the game.

For myself I find the the mini guitar-cade games a fun way to practice chord changes and other techniques.
One remark I have with the game is that you need to have a good foundation on techniques and theory which is only brief explained in the game. Also the game has a adaptive learning curve, the better you get the more it's "throwing at you" so practice suddenly changes since you are improving, and suddenly all king of techniques or chords are added to your practice.

Thanks in advance, and keep up the good work with the Guitar Trick side.
Cheers,
Jurjen.

Hey Jurjen,

It looks intriguing but I've never tried it. If you do, let us know what you think?

I've used the ps3 version. It's pretty cool, But has a slight delay problem. But it might be caused by bad adjustments on my part? hope this helps

Here's a couple GT threads from way back;

That second url is a much longer thread and my own post, #19, has yet another link to a tech-site review of the game. Do some Google searches...a year or two ago I saw at least one hit on another site that addressed the delay issue.
