Finally I have decided to begin what I have been thinking for years... To learn play guitar, at my own pace and at my available time (by the way, very irregular). That's the reason I picked guitartricks.com. I'm interested in classic guitar (Spanish classic guitar and some flamenco) and classic rock (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC...), but I would like to begin with the classic guitar. Any suggestion will be welcome. Thanks in advance!

Hi RArias,

Good to have you here! Glad to hear GT is a good fit for you, time seems to be the one thing you can never find enough of.

We've got a lot more classic rock than classical, but here are some classical lessons for you: http://www.guitartricks.com/style.php?input=Classical

I too have just signed up for a year of Guitar Tricks, and very much look forward to learning how to play at my own pace, taking into account my varied availability.

Neal, a quick question for you. When I finished signing up, I was taken to a page with free downloadable "gifts". After downloading the first one (Chord Theory Magic), I somehow wandered off of that page and couldn't find it again to finish downloading. Can you please help me find my way back?

I'm really am excited about getting started with these lessons. Good luck to you, RArias!

Thanks!

Sue

I am new to this site, I've played guitar for a very long time. However if you held a gun to my head I couldn't play you a major scale. I play all by ear and can play most anything I can hear. I can't read a note of music or TAB. Have any suggestions on to where I should start with guitar tricks?

hi Sue,
if Neal doesn't pick up on this message

You might want to direct the question to
Neal's forum.found near the bottom of the forums list..

Also look in your computer programs.. It may a separate program from GuitarTricks..
good luck

PS.. also try Lisa McCormick.. I think Chord Theory Magic is her Baby
