Advice for teaching my daughters
I am looking for some direction on teaching my daughters how to play. They are 10 and 7. I joined to knock the rust off my playing and to improve so I could help my daughters. Should I just start with guided lessons? Thanks.

Hi Madcam,
Wonderful question - I started playing at age 10, with a little help from my Dad.
I'd recommend you look at Acoustic Strumming Step-by-Step, Level 1 . This will get them into playing simple songs right away, which I think is a really good motivator.
It doesn't teach the chords per se, but you could probably best do that on your own by showing them to your girls. The one to start with is Em. Most kids have pretty good luck with that one!
Keep us posted - and have fun!
