Look at the Tascam Pocketstudio, its a portable 4 track or 8 track recording device. It has 2 CONDENSER Mics built into them and they will pick up anything near you. They also have 2-4 inputs for direct recording options.

I have one and they are pretty sick, its about 200$ when i bought it, so now they are probably a lot cheaper. Seriously check them out because you never know when you might get that ONE SUPER COOL GUITAR RIFF in your head and you have nothing to record it on..
