At the time it was on sale for 99$ and I had a 25$ GC gift card and found a 20% off coupon on the internet, so I got it pretty cheap. It is going for 149.00 currently, but I love it!

I have one of these also. I bought it a couple of years ago to record my daughter's piano recitals. I'm now also using it to record some of my practice sessions. I agree that is a great little device. It uses a micro sd card, so you can easily move your recording to a PC and edit them if you desire. You can also attach it to a camera stand, which makes it easy to play anywhere in the room. It has an AGC for recording levels, or you can set it for manually setting the levels.
