My knowledge of music is very little too, I'm still learning my chords. But I've been playing for two years now and can play rather confidently. I understand how to read scales and stuff, and play them, but I don't know how to incorporate them into solos. Also, its confusing when I look at one site and see a scale for the minor pentatonic, and then look at another with different fingerings and on different location of the fret board. I understand they are in different keys, but no site I have seen list them out, from the first key on wards up. If anyone can give any pointers or sites, I would much appreciate it.
Any good theory sites?
Hi, I'm wondering if anybody knows of any good sites that has real basic information on how to understand scales, music theory, etc. I wan't to be able to play lead guitar fluently. As of now, all I can do is play solos tabbed out and by listening to the CDs. Even then they don't sound that good.

Have a look at http://www.guitarnoise.com
they have some useful stuff there, I'd also recommend getting a teacher - when i got into SERIOUS rhythm playing i found that getting a few lessons was extremely helpful.
cheers.
