Probably to include emotion in the post. Some people really want others to know they are furious.

Or because it's too long to write -

"I'm a total [please insert curse word here], I broke my [please insert curse word here] guitar, while jamming to a [please insert curse word here] song with my [please insert curse word here] friends"

- To be politically correct, kinda take too much space :)
