I'm in love

I have finally fallen in love. I just purchased a PRS custom 22 tricolor sunburst w/ moon inlays. I was originaly looking at a McCarty standard for price reasons, but then I saw it. It was only $100 more than the McCarty. It was last years guitar and it had a scratch on the back the size of a pin head. I got it for just over $1700! My previous guitar was a Fender American Fat Strat. I just thought I enjoyed playing. Since I got my new guitar I haven't been able to put it down, so maybe now I'll actually learn something lol. Well, I just thought I would share my excitement

Getting a new guitar is always great. I just recently got a new CL1000 and the initial joy still hasn't worn off although I've had it almost a month.

I'm receiving my latest buy on thursday (I hope):
the Ibanez RG7 621... A 7 strings, so now I get one more reason to play wrong notes... And I'm still like a kid, even though it's my 6th guitar...

Nothing like the smell of a new guitar, or an old one for that matter, especially when it smells like yours...

getting a new guitar is probably one the best feelings...especially the smell. Every time I get a new guitar...I sleep with it within an arms reach...call me crazy but hey...

I need a Fender Starcaster.

Lovely guitar you got there.
Now Im gonna talk about my guitar again.
I love doing that, and hopefully you will love
talking about yours.
When saw the add in the paper saying
"Fender Strat Signature 400$"
I just.. ..went crazy.
It was like this was the deal of the century
and it felt like it was only I who knew about it.
So I went out to the guy, he had a small room in
some sort of dairy-factory.
So I met him and he started talking about it.
And I saw it, the most beutiful guitar I've ever seen.
He did so for about an hour, but I didnt hear a word of what he said, I just kept staring on it an nodding every time he asked me something.
He could have said that it had no pick-ups, it was broken
everywhere, it smelled cheese, the price was raised to 9000000$, I wouldnt have cared. I just HAD to have that guitar.That was two years ago and I still smile everytime
I see it or play it.
God I love that guitar.....
So I hope things will turn out just as good as
they did for me.
Thats a great feeling, when you have bought something and youre really happy about it.

I still can't believe I own this guitar. I look at it, and play it everyday in awe. It's the sweetest sounding, easiest playing guitar I have ever played. Thanks for all the great replies.
