I'm in need of a 2x12 cabinet. It must be able to handle a good bit of power. I'm wanting a Mesa Boggie 2x12 Rectifier cab, but I'm also thinking about building a cab with 2 peavey black widdow's. Does anybody know how much the Mesa cab cost? What would be the best material to build a cab out of? Would a closed back, open back, or 3/4 open back be better? I'm using a POD pro through a Mackie M-800 power amp, so whitchever rout would be best it must be able to handle the power. I really need some advise, so if anybody can help me out, I would really appreciate it.

Good luck,

Thanks for the help. I've decided to build a box myself. I already have it designed out on CAD and everything. I'm going to use 2x12" Peavey Black Widow's since they can handle the extra power I have. I can send you a picture of the plans to see what you think if you want. Again thanks for the help.
