Hi, I'm new to this site and also a beginner playing guitar. Enjoying the site and using it frequently for lessons and songs , I have a few suggestions you might consider when developing or improving the site.

First of all I think it is great with the videos showing the tutor, what and how he is actually playing, but it is quite difficult to watch, play(learn) while having to scroll the tabs/chord sheets up and down by mouse or keyboard, so I would suggest moving the video to one side of the screen and a scrollable sheet besides it - maybe with a video/sheet speed indikator/leveler, so the student can slow down the video and at the same time see where on the sheet he actually is playing. I've seen this in other guitar programs, although there is no video in those....I am not a computer geek and don't know whether it would be possible to do that...Just a suggestion storming through my little brain :-)

Next I would like to suggest a limitation of the introriff/solo in the lessons to exclusively the first part of each lesson....because after a few lessons you get a little bored with the same intro...thinking why is this tutor showing off so much ;-)

Last but not least I would very much appreciate printable song documents with chords/tabs.
I know there propably are copyright and license issues, but before becoming a full access member I asked specifically about this matter in a mail and I was ensured that everything on the site was printable....just to find out, that this only concerns the lesson part of the site.Hmmmpf ;-)

But no matter what - You're still doing a great job and I enjoy the site anyways.

Best regards,
MrMuck

Hi MrMuck,

Thanks for the suggestions.

What intros are you referring to? I think I know, but want to make sure. What lessons are they in?

Hi Jon,

since I haven't made my way through all the lessons yet , I can just give you a few examples of what I mean . In the lessons below, the intro is repeated through every section of the course.
And I'm not saying this because I think he's not playing well !!! I just think it takes time and while I'm trying to learn stuff , it kind of switches my focus from being alert and ready to learn to being annoied with the repeated intro ;-)

Course Menu: Country Style Level 2 - by Andy Gurley

There may be more, but I've not run into them yet ;-)

Have a nice weekend,

Hi MrMuck,
Thanks! That's what I was thinking you were talking about. As far as I know, only the crew that filmed Andy Gurley did that. Other people have had the same reaction as you. We liked it at first, but we don't do it any more.

thanks again for the feedback.
