Do you know any movies with guitar duels?
like the Crossroads with Steve Vai?
or any movies with REAL serious guitar playing?

Its not exactly a duel, and one of the instruments
is a banjo, but I still recommend "The Deliverence"
to those of you who havent seen it.
That is some serious banjo-playing!
Then I saw the tab in an issue of "Total Guitar",
Where you were supposed to play both the banjo and the
guitar at the same time.
Well, a bit to hard for me, but the guy who played
it on the CD that comes along the magazine,
he knew where he had his fingers!
Good lord!

My second pick is "Road House" with Patrick Swayze.
Theres a blind guy who plays guitar in the bar.
He plays with the guitar laying in his lap, sort of.
Amazing.

what about back to the future where Marty goes to the 50s and goes nuts playing Johny B Good.

I love that flick...

I flipped over Johnny B Goode in BTTF and am totally stunned by Jeff Heally, still.

I once saw the tab for Duelling Banjos and .. it was waaay complicated....how many hands do i need?

Great thread.
Accuracy,you say? hmm interesting concept..

I just watched that last night!!!!! Yep, that's one of the classics.

Hey did you catch the reference to Chuck Berry? You know the guitarist that cuts his hand when he was getting Marty out of the trunk? . . . he calls up when Marty is playing and says - "Hey Chuck, it's your cousin Marvin Berry. Listen to this . . . "
