Sometimes it is hard to follow on the video because I cannot see where the instructor fingers are on the fret. And I know the finger isn't suppose to be on the fret but at times it does look like it is on it. The finger should be between frets, yes? Then there's the big fat thumb. Now I have been told that the thumb doesn't hold the low E string at any time, yet it does look like the thumb is on the low E trying to hold it down. One more thing, there are moments when insrtuctors start going a bit to fast and I can't learn that way. I cannot slow my computer down. What should I do? I have already invested in lots of DVD's and guitars, etc. I am NOT going to give up. Thanks for listening, Cruznbenicia

Hey cruznbenicia,

Thanks for your post! You can certainly use your thumb to hold down the low e string. Here's a lesson that will help you on that: http://www.guitartricks.com/lesson.php?input=14463

Also, if there is any moment where the instructors are moving to fast, you can always use the a/b loop feature on the video player to stay at a part in the video you are still working on.

Best Regards
