For some reason, I can't figure out how to palm mute. I know that probably sounds lame, but whenever I do it, I get a very weird noise and it sounds nothing like what the actual song does. Is there some sort of trick to it? How much pressure should you have on your right hand holding the strings down?

Any advice would be very appreciated.
