It was more a case of me saying "yes, I'm getting that, hold that for me for a while", then I did try it out later. Of course, with something so standard as a strat, the unplugged sound is the thing you need to listen for I think. If it had been faulty or had something obviously wrong with the electronics I would have noticed it when trying it out later and they wouldn't have made me pay anything for it, cause I know them there, but I checked it out pretty thouroughly anyway.
