Has anyone ever noticed that the most deep and meaningful songs have something to do with sadness. Smashing Pumpkins wrote some great songs IMHO and the Beatle's Eleanor Rigby, oh that song is incredible. I hardly ever hear a truly great song about happiness. Happy tunes tend to be more toward the pop side of things. MTV happy tunes, you know and they sound so fake. Is it really that hard to wrote something genuine that is about happiness?
