Hello, just as an update, I finally mastered the barre on the 7th fret to play Romanza by rolling my index finger to the left barring with the side of the finger. It works every time. Thanks again!

i'm not familiar with the piece you're learning but i can assume that if the song is in standard tuning that you're not sounding all strings barred on the 7th fret... i imagine you're playing some type of chord rooted at the 7th fret that requires barring.... so, what i would do in that case is use my thumb to fret the 7th fret on the E string and my index finger to barre the remainding strings that need to be barred... and add the other notes in with your middle, index, and pinky..... of course, not knowing the exact chord that you're playing - this may not be the exact case but it's a start.
