help with hammering etc!

hey, i've been sifting through some tabs and they all say stuff like 'pull-offs', 'hammer-ons', 'slides' and that sorta thing, but what i wanna know is, how do i do 'pull-offs' 'hammer-ons' 'slides'and any other stuff u can tell me before i have to put up another post!?!?!? I've only had my guitar for 3 days and i'm a girl so its probably just my ignorance, but i want to take the fast track, so please, someone help me figure this out!!
