If you have a monthly subscription, you can get the gift box by buying a year. If you already have a year subscription, you can get the box by buying an additional year.

The problem with getting another year is that I am already a member until 2014 getting another year would put into 2015 and that's like 3 years away I might be dead by then. Is there going to be something set up for us long timers. Not with regards to the net stuff but what about the backing tracks.

Just got mine today (re-upped the sub after too long away, got my priorities in the right order now) and it is pretty cool. Loving the Snark tuner, the multi tool is quite nice as well. The picks are a bit blah, one has a flat spot on it, but they look cool so good enough there :)
Have a very talented group of friends that are going to be over shortly to try out the chord dice, of which they where all very excited to learn about. Although they made me promise no recording them after the consumption of a few adult beverages.
Haven't got to the digital content just yet, but looking forward to it this weekend if time allows *does rain dance*

TheGM had suggested that people in your situation should be able to get the downloadable part of the box. I thought that sounded reasonable so I set it up with customer support.
