personally, i have no money [having recently bought a Gibson].... I'm tempted to be jealous.
I also live in the UK which would mean shipping [extra say $50]..........
What i was raving about earlier is guitar prices,really.. I mean ....On the Internet and UK shops up to 150 mi away the cheapest i can find a MIM Std Tele, is £255/$365..and that's from Germany!!... with the same price postage that a UK store would charge. The lowest for the same guitar from a UK retailer is approx £300.
Ok, Scandanavia has far worse prices(...especially for beer..), but Fender and Gibson have been making the same models for 50 years (a lot longer than MOST of us have been alive:)) they have recouped most of their tooling and production costs (apart from calculable overheads) and seem to more than make up for it in their rrps.
I'll stop raving *tablet* .
That melodica must take some skill to play - sound pretty good from what i can find.

Yeah, it's pretty bad being lefty over here.... it's like a minum of an extra of 10%.. while in some shops in the US do them for no extra charge... or with only a little extra.. but still, lefty guitars are over priced goddamitt..

i paid for my guitar almost 500$ more than its list price..
(on music123 i could get it for about half of the price i paid).
Those guys are tacking too much money for themselves.
Why do i have to pay so much when in the usa people can afford the same thing for much less money?
i have a friend who bought his lefty american telecaster via music 123, and he paid about the same price i had for my guitar, while in israeli prices his guitar costs 9000 shekels (and he got it for 4500...)
(on music123 i could get it for about half of the price i paid).

I now have large sheets of modelling plastic which i cut my picks out of because the problem got so bad, i don't currenly play outside the house so I dont have to carry the plastic with me... it doesn't sound quite the same, but it's ok :)
My first sheet of plastic cost 60 pence when picks were 30 pence each.
I calculate that i got around 100 picks out of it! - but they still disappeared - they go to they same place as small spoons,socks and ballpoint pens do..some 4th dimension. *Twilight Zone music*

I've still got my very first pick.. heheh.. a big thin red one that cost me forty pence at the time... I rarely ever use it now... I've only ever lost 2 picks out of the 14 i've ever owned...
Try keeping them in a little pot/ jar that has a lid.. that's what i do... DONT insert them into your guitar or anyting like that, that's how I lost those 2 picks... I'm pretty sure they fell out, but where? I've moved house since, so i dont really expect to find them...

man, only 2/14? mine's more like 469/473! fenders got to be making money off us.... yeah, yeah, i know, that means i only now know of 4 picks the haven't been "obducted" in to the twilite zone... lol! hmm... if we could figure out how to get in there.... we could get rich off all the small spoons and socks!!!! and we'd never have to be picks again!! of course then they'd all just go some where else...
